Our foundations go back to 2005, when the Evolvi system was developed by Harry Weeks Travel (HWT) as the first online self-booking tool focused on UK rail. It was an immediate success, having been developed by travel professionals with the corporate traveller in mind.
Not only did Evolvi cut through the complexities of the UK fares infrastructure, it offered travel management companies and their clients access to a suite of management tools, covering policy setting and compliance, along with management information and reporting.
Since then, the company has expanded to become the acknowledged market leader in online corporate rail booking through its self-booking tool. It has also successfully transitioned into new market area through its rail API, partnering with some of the biggest brands in international travel.
Darren Williams, Managing Director
Darren joined Evolvi in August 2024 with a focus on customer satisfaction, technical innovation and product delivery. He held a number of operations, sales and distribution roles at Eurostar, and was more recently Commercial Director at Omio in charge of all European rail and coach content.

Melanie Glass, Head of Account Management
With a long-standing career in supplier relationship management, corporate account management and business travel operations, Melanie brings a wealth of corporate travel industry experience to Evolvi. She leads a customer-facing team dedicated to optimising TMC partnerships, at the outset of relationships and through ongoing system customisation.

Andy Edwards, Head of Customer Support and Delivery
Andy joined Evolvi in 2021 from a Global TMC where he had worked in a variety of roles for over 20 years, this included managing client implementations onto the Evolvi system. In his role at Evolvi he manages the client support team who deal with day-to-day queries from our clients and as part of the Senior Management Team, helps to deliver new features on the Evolvi platform.
